We've reviewed a number of products from Boutique in the past, many of which have left us slightly disappointed. So, it would be fair to say, when this Boutique Horse Western Cowboy 13-Piece Crib Bedding Set arrived on our office doorstep, we were just a little unenthusiastic.

That feeling was in for a short, sharp, shift however when we quickly discovered that this is a "premium" range Boutique product - with a cowboy / western design, and plenty of elements to look at. Read on to find out whether this collection has changed our opinion on Boutique product!

Design & Appearance
The cowboy and western design has certainly been executed tremendously well here in the Boutique Horse Western Cowboy 13-Piece Crib Bedding Set. From the quilt design, right down to the fitted sheet, we would be crazy not to officially modify our outlook on future Boutique "premium range" products.

The quilt is by far the most impressive item in the set, with a central animated horse design in the middle and different square patches around the outside. These square patches include things like horseshoes, sheriff stars, and - probably the most exciting patch - the cow coat. This cow coat is realistically textured, so it feels furry (yet is still soft enough to ensure no irritation or hazards exist).

Color Scheme
It is very difficult to pin down one particular key color in this design. The most prevalent colors are deep red, blue, and brown - however this explanation cannot possibly begin to explain how effective this color combination really is.

The contrasting and sudden effects caused by the cow coat all create an exciting, different product, which is sure to draw the attention of visitors and friends.

Fabric Usage
Aside from the realistic cow coat patches, all of the designs on the quilt have been sewn on, rather than printed.

The fabric itself is very soft, and will ensure that you baby stays nice and warm during the winter months.

Despite the issues with previous crib bedding sets from Boutique, this set really hits the nail on the head in terms of design and execution. We love the cowboy / western theme, and the use of the realistic cow coat is impressive. Overall, a full 5 stars is definitely in order for this set, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something a little bit different.
